Wavefinity – Modern Business Website
Wavefinity is a local IT support company serving small businesses across Eagle and Summit Counties in Colorado. They needed a website that would communicate reliability, technical expertise, and local presence — something that would make a stressed business owner think “these people can fix it.”
The result is a fast, Hugo-powered business site that clearly presents Wavefinity’s six core service areas, establishes trust through clean design and local messaging, and makes it dead simple for potential clients to pick up the phone or send an inquiry.

Wavefinity – built with Hugo
The Challenge
Wavefinity’s previous online presence didn’t reflect the quality of their technical work. The key challenges were:
- Multiple service lines — IT support, networks, Microsoft 365, email security, VoIP, and data protection all needed clear, individual presentation without overwhelming visitors
- Local credibility — the site needed to feel rooted in the Vail Valley community while still projecting professional competence to a nationwide audience for remote services
- Conversion clarity — every page needed to guide visitors toward getting in touch, whether that’s a phone call, contact form, or service inquiry
- Mobile accessibility — many business owners browse on their phones; the site had to work flawlessly on every device
The Approach
Content Architecture
The site is structured around a services-first model. Each of the six core services gets its own dedicated page with a consistent layout: what it is, who it’s for, and how to get started. This makes it easy for visitors to self-identify their need and take action.
The information architecture follows a simple hierarchy:
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Home | Overview, services summary, company ethos, call to action |
| Services (×6) | Individual deep-dives for each service line |
| Blog | Technical articles and company updates |
| About | Company story, values, team |
| FAQ | Common questions and answers |
| Contact | Phone, form, and local presence |
Design Philosophy
Wavefinity’s brand is technical but approachable — think less “enterprise IT” and more “the friendly expert who shows up when your server crashes.” The design reflects this:
- Clean, professional aesthetic with a blue-toned colour palette that conveys trust and technology
- Service cards on the homepage give a quick visual overview before visitors drill into specifics
- Prominent phone number in the header — the single most important conversion element
- Local imagery of the Colorado mountains weaves the Vail Valley identity throughout
- Icon-driven service listings make technical offerings scannable at a glance
- Clear typographic hierarchy separates service names, descriptions, and CTAs
Technical Implementation
Built with Hugo for speed and maintainability. The site uses:
- Modular service layouts — each service page shares a common template, so adding a new service is as simple as creating a markdown file
- Reusable shortcodes for CTAs, service cards, and feature lists — the client can add new offerings without touching HTML
- Contact-form integration with serverless handling
- Blog section for SEO content and company updates
- Responsive design tested across desktop, tablet, and mobile

- Perfect Lighthouse scores for performance and accessibility
- Local SEO optimisation for “Vail Valley IT support” and “Eagle County IT services” keywords
- Google Business Profile integration with review link

- Canonical URLs and clean URL structure
- Sitemap generation for search engine discovery

- Remote support session initiation
Phase 3 — Service Integrations
- Live chat for immediate support inquiries
- Automated appointment scheduling for onsite visits
- Service status page with real-time outage updates
Phase 4 — Content Growth
- Knowledge base of common IT guides and tutorials
- Local business spotlight series featuring client success stories
- Video walkthroughs and setup guides
Phase 5 — E-Commerce for Hardware

The Hugo-based architecture means each phase can be added as a standalone feature without disrupting the existing site. Wavefinity can prioritise based on what their clients need most.
